Naomi Merx is a multidisciplinary & polyglot artist. She was born into a multicultural artistic family with roots in Indonesia, China, Germany, France and The Netherlands.

During her carreer as a dancer, theatre actress & street performer, she participated in multiple installation-art projects all over the globe and volunteered as an  assistent in art therapy sessions throughout Italy and Spain. While working on stage she was in charge of  scenography, make-up and costume design, using whatever was in reach,  to create costumes and decor.

 Some of her favourite materials to work with are found objects, yarn/wool, clay, paper mache and industrial pipes or tubes. She has created costumes with leather chamois, cloths, natural fibers, wire, rope, and plastic bags. Naomi's art is a mixture of what she has learned while traveling the world. It's an explosion of colour, joy and love. 
She worked  and studied  intuitive creativity with Cristobal Jodorowsky in Mexico, Italy and Spain and is a student among others of Harriet Goodall (Sculptural Basket Weaving).
